LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM October 15, 2015
Presented by Barbara Bruno, CPC, CTS
Managers have subordinates - leaders have “followers!” There are natural born leaders, but leadership abilities can also be learned and effectively implemented. Your current leadership abilities are influenced by many factors including your character, life and work experiences, cognitive abilities and maturity.
The ability to make difficult decisions at the right time determines if a business thrives or merely survives. We will review touch decisions faced by leaders in the Staffing and Recruiting Profession, including:
Consider a new niche?
Time to cut back or grow?
We will address the three cornerstones to leadership:
VISION – crafting a vision of new possibilities for the future through exploration, boldness and testing assumptions
ALIGNMENT – building alignment by communicating with clarity, influencing, engaging in dialogue and providing inspiration so everyone is moving in the same direction
EXECUTION – leaders need to champion execution through momentum, structure, feedback to ensure others are capitalizing on their talents while making your vision a reality
Each participant will receive a confidential personal assessment in advance that will provide detailed information, on current leadership abilities.
Time will be set aside for interaction with other participants and to ask Barb questions.
